April Fool’s Day is a cool day for me just because it’s the name APRIL! DUUUUHHHH!!!I haven’t really participated in it in a few years now. Not that I’m too old, but what joke can I tell that is really believable, is not overly dramatic, and not just simply super stupid that may linger on to the next day because some ones feelings got hurt because you are trying to tell a simple joke. So I actually get fooled more, than actually doing the fooling. April Fool’s Day can be a fun thing, but some people get out of control.
Like the whole I’m pregnant thing is super over rated to me. (I had a few people tell me to prank Rob with that…)That’s a no go and my husband would never believe it anyways. He just knows me that well; especially how I reacted the first time I got prego with Naomi. Plus people take that very serious it’s not a joke to a lot of people. I take heed to the fact that so many women now are trying to conceive and cannot, have carried a child and then miscarriage etc. Maybe a few of you are thinking I’m overacting, but hey whatever, I just take something’s into consideration.
It’s okay if we don’t see eye to eye. Don’t get your panties in a bunch.
Now I remember when my mommy got me a few years ago. Talking about my tire was flat. She woke me up out of my beauty sleep. She was like:
Mommy: Do you have to work today?
Me: Yes! Mom!! I have like thirty more minutes before I get up
Mommy: Well you might want to get up because your tire is flat, call your dad.
Me: What!!! What do you mean my tire is flat? I jump out of bed half naked soooo mad. I found my bedroom slippers, and darted downstairs, out the back door.
Mommy: April Fool’s (hahahahhaha)
Me: Mom! You woke me up for a prank? Are you serious??!!! I can’t believe you!
Mommy: Hahahahahaha!!! It was funny. You know it was!
Me: Hahahahaha!! Mom I can’t with you
We just laughed together! I still couldn’t believe she woke me up thirty minutes earlier though. You know what an extra thirty minutes means in bed before work. Shoot an extra thirty minutes will give you life.
She was so cute though, and so hype that she actually pranked me.
Now that was a cute joke, but I’ve seen some goooo really bad. (Not in real life but on YouTube!!) Ooohhh, it can get down right out of control! Like I said before April Fool’s Day can be fun but some people take it way to far!
Like this one mother who worked at Virginia College texted her daughter saying that it was a shooting on campus. (Talk about a harmless prank.) The next text the mother sent said that it was an “April Fool’s joke,” but it was too late, the daughter had already called 911 saying that her mother just texted her saying that her co-workers and herself were hiding in a file office because they heard gun shots in the building. (Now you know that lady should have known better than to scare her daughter like that!) The police arrived at the campus and swarmed the school. All this information circulated the news and social media. No gun!! No shooter!! And the lady probably has no job!!
What a mess down, bust down!
