The pleasure of seeing my husband’s handsome face every day is such a great blessing from God to me! (I am so thankful) I’ve been in love with the same man for so long; heck Rob is the only man I’ve ever been IN LOVE WITH. Trust me there is a BIG difference for those who don’t know! Some of the memories I look back on are so hilarious and cute. (Smirk.) I was going through Robs gorilla cases a few months back and I found all the things that showed how much we loved one another, even back then. It amazes me how I feel just as in love now as I did then (pause) well actually I love my husband more today than I did yesterday. Looking back it feels just like yesterday and then sometimes it feels like forever ago! I promise you this life that God has blessed me with feels so surreal to me sometimes! A lot of people would say,” I knew you two would end up together and it’s not so much of a surprise.” However, when I look and I see you, I see me, I see us, our daughter, our marriage we are one and I see that we made our own little family I know that God is so real! At one point in life everything that I have now didn’t even seem possible, heck not even close.
I pulled out two trash bags of letters that I had written to Rob. Two bags!! Some of the letters weren’t even opened I guess he really didn’t have time to read them. I mean I did write him like every day! And I do mean that literally!! I would put lipstick on and kiss the paper. I would have the prettiest stationaries that I wrote him on and then I would spray it with Love Spell from Victoria Secret. (Bahahahaha….I’m seriously laughing!!) Okay not only did I find the letters that I wrote Rob. Hold up! I must say this…ISN’T IT SOOOO CUTE HOW ROB KEPT ALL MY LETTERS, CARDS, AND GIFTS I GOT HIM WHILE HE WAS OVER SEAS??? SOOOO CUTE AND I THINK IT IS SO AMAZING HOW HE HAS BEEN HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE AND HE MANAGED TO HALL THOSE TWO TRASH BAGS WITH HIM!! (I blushing)
Okay now back to what I was saying. Not only did I find the letters but guess what else I found?! I found a board that I made for Rob (hahaha.) I had “ROB” spelled out in all bold letters and then I had purple and red glitter all over the board with hearts on it. (Oh I so wish my page was done being set up I would have definitely taken a picture of it and showed you, doesn’t mean you won’t see it in the future though.)
I had that right over my bed!!! Oh my goodness!! That board is not even the kicker though! I made a colleague of you. It covered the entire wall! But wait though! Wait! Half the pictures were pictures I took off of your Facebook! **AM I A CREEP ON THE LOW LOW** I had your cap and gown pictures up with a few pictures up we took together but it was mostly pictures I took off of your Facebook. I crack myself up!! I had pictures that I got off google images of the Marine Corps uniform too. (Bahahaha!) I’m such a doll!! (Flutters lashes.)
Like looking back at these things really makes my heart smile! We have things that showed our love for one another years ago! Like these are things from like five and six years ago!!
It’s always good to make memories in any way possible with the ones you love. I’m an arts and crafts kind of gal (thanks to my parents for that!) so I like to show my love through creative things! Even now on holidays I make Robs cards and write cute little saying in them and I share my own words of love to him in them! It’s all fun and love! (winks right eye.)

Oh, yeah one quick thing!! I’m a girl that loves flowers okay! Yes, they do die, but I feel like only if you allow them too. Rob got me a single red rose in 2009 for our very first Valentine’s Day and I still have that rose. It’s definitely not red anymore and it’s all dried up and crumbled up in a plastic zip lock bag in one of my calendar books. But I see it just the same as I did the day that he gave it to me! I didn’t just see the rose. I saw the meaning behind it. So even though it doesn’t have the same appearance it still has the same meaning. And that, that is really what matters.
