Hello! Hello!
I pray all is well!
First off I want to start by apologizing for my absence. I do have a few people who support my prospering blog, which I appreciate very much! I never want anyone to think that I’ve just forgotten all about you. So I hope I didn’t upset you too much for being ghost.
Let me tell you what’s been going down in the Jones house hold, we’ve been BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNING!! Yep! that’s right, we’re about to have a 1 year old. Where the heck did the time go? This time last year I was hot, sweating, tired, feet swollen, and craving marinara sauce. ( Which I don’t care for at all now.) I’m telling you, you better write it down and take a picture to make it last longer because time doesn’t wait for anyone! I felt like we just brought Naomi home yesterday, well some days I feel like that. Until I look behind me and see a little person following me. Or when I get bit by the cutest little monster with her two bottom teeth. Or when I look over at her while I’m cooking dinner and she’s feeding herself her snacks. I’m simply amazed!
So, like I was saying the Jones house hold is all talk about Naomi’s 1st birthday party. I’m super excited about it, overwhelmed, but excited. Don’t worry I’m not going ALLLLL out but please believe me, it will be special. What do you think Naomi’s theme will be?
Now Naomi’s birthday isn’t until September. September 5th to be exact. Maybe some of you are wondering why I’m starting so early, but I am a woman who wears many hats. So if I want to give my sweet pea the proper TLC that her party deserves, I feel the need to jump on it right now. I told myself in May that June was going to be the kick off for party planning.
For those who know me, know that I treated myself to a brand new journal just for this special event. (My other journals are occupied anyways.) That’s right! I got myself a new journal just to write in for Naomi’s birthday planning, but of course you know I’m going to save it for memories. (Winks right eye.) This past Monday I did a “walk around.” Meaning, I went to four stores I knew I would purchase Naomi’s party treats from and I wrote down how many items I would need to buy. Heck! I even wrote down the prices.
Oh, I don’t play! Not even a little bit. I writes it down hunny.
I’m so hype about this party! I can not wait at all! All the beautiful colors and little crafts that I’m putting together for the decorations. It will definitely be a party to remember.
Well, (sigh) I just wanted to fill you in on the latest happenings of whats been going on with me. I pray all is well with you, your family, and your friends. I hope you wake up feeling like you can move mountains every morning.
