HEY CHILE!! (I literally just yelled that at you, I’m sorry.) Like I am so full of energy right now I need to sit my behind down somewhere. I had a small cup of coffee. I sure did. It’s been over a week since I’ve had a coffee and boooy this caffeine is working on me! I don’t really like to have too much caffeine. I just recently became a big coffee drinker when I moved to California. So yeah, about two years now. I used to think coffee was the worst thang eva. I mean, it’s still kind of is the worst thang being that I drink it black. No cream, no suga fuh me. I rather eat my calories, not drink them.
So, what’s been going on with you? I hope you’re well and in good spirits these days. The season is fitna change, kids are in school, the holidays will be here before you know it. I love this time of the year. The feeling. The smell. The memories. (Oooh.) It’s just something about the fall ya know.
I really thought that working out was going to be difficult to continue in full affect once school started. But thank God I am working with what I got. I am currently doing a squat challenge now. I like to do challenges because I can look at the chart, do what I gotta do, and keep it pushing. It gives me structure in a way. (I prefer structure over all thangs. I don’t like chaos and confusion. I mean clutter and disorganization give me a headache.) I write my workouts down in my workout planner so I can stay on track daily and go from there. I drink plenty of water. I eat 80% healthy and 20% blah. I will have a cheat meal (not a cheat day) there’s a difference.
Chile it’s mornings where I am holding 10 pound weights, while doing sumo squats, and helping my daughter write her first, middle, and last name. You got to get creative Chile. Naomi is super eager to learn. (I love it.) She always does more than what is expected of her. So teaching her is pretty fun and easy. However, Eli (11 months) is all over the place which can be a distraction to Naomi. So somedays are rough. Of course I like the days when thangs go as planned. Fixing breakfast and getting Naomi’s school work packet put together. By the time I get that done and clean up the kitchen, Naomi is done eating and we’re ready to learn. On a good day Eli’ is happy in her high chair just shooting the breeze, watching Clifford on PBS Kids. That’s a easy school day. But as you know every day is not like that. So I just roll with the punches and get it done one way or the other. That’s why it is so imperative to pray every morning before you do anything. Get that mind right Chile! Talk to God first. But that’s a conversation for another day.
Talk soon.?
